But as we inadvertently relax for a moment, it transforms into the scent of fresh, vibrant blood pulsing from the throat. The final touch is an endless darkness that knows no bounds. This is the imaginative portrayal of the victim in the barbershop murder depicted in the musical film “Sweeney Todd” (2007), directed by Tim Burton. It tells the story of a skilled barber with a talent for haircutting and shaving, who is wrongly accused and unjustly punished, leading him to disappear for over 15 years before returning to seek revenge. The impact of the film, including its storytelling, songs, visual composition, color palette, and various atmospheres, is overwhelming and becomes an irresistible source of inspiration for creating a fragrance.

Bloody Barbershop fragrance is crafted on the structure of the Fougère fragrance family, aiming to evoke the ambiance of an old-fashioned men’s barbershop. However, it infuses the scent of geranium, which carries a distinct metallic note, to convey the smell of a sharpened razor. The aromatic scent of basil complements this composition, while the rose absolute (Rosa Damascena) with its metallic undertones serves as an accent and reduces the soapy aroma of geranium. This combination results in a fresher, more pronounced scent of newly spilled blood from the throat. The fragrance is further enhanced with suede notes to elevate the metallic and blood-like elements, effectively capturing the distinct atmosphere of the barbershop.
